====== Rules for Vampires ====== ===== Forbiddance ===== Vampires cannot enter without being invited in. It doesn't matter how they are invited in. Can be an "Ok, come in". Or "It is fine, you can come." - both will be accepted as an invitation. What they cannot enter is another matter, entries is usually denoted by doors or gates. Thus a city gate will be enough to deter them, though most vampires will have little to no problem getting an invitation there. Houses are the same, but difficulty is higher. ===== Ancestry ===== Players who die while bitten (Attack:BITE) by vampires do not necessarily turn into Vampires. The vampire can turn a player if it chooses to. The target dies if its hit point maximum is reduced to 0. A humanoid slain in this way and then buried in the ground rises the after 7 nights as a vampire spawn under the vampires control. If the vampire is killed before the 7 nights has passed, the humanoid remains dead. If the Spawn has happened and Origin vampire is killed, the Spawn will refer to the next up in the vampire hierachy as master. ===== Fear of Faith ===== A religion check with a DC:15 + Level of Vampire is required for them to fear the deity of the player. ===== Fear of Garlic ===== Nonsense, no vampires fear a good linguini with Garlic, or garlic bread. (But they do like the taste in the blood..) ===== Harmed by Running Water ===== Vampires take 20 acid damage if they end their turn in running water. ===== Stake to the Heart ===== If a piercing weapon made of wood is driven into its while it is incapacitated in his coffin, It is paralyzed until the stake is removed. ===== Sunlight Hypersensitivity ===== While in sunlight, A vampire takes 20 radiant damage at the start of his turn, and it has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks.
