Company of the Wolf

A band of mercenaries based out of Nesmé in the Evermoors., They were expert woodsmen, trackers and Archers. Often fought Orcs and wild beasts of the forests. They also guided and guarded merchants to and from the sword coast and points south and the northen cities for Silverymoon and Sundabar.

Force: Currently estimated to hold 2 battalions of about 1500 people. Leader: Commander Wulfgar the grey.

Hierachy

Despite being named Company their numbers have grown, and they should be named “Battalion of the Wolf” considering their numbers. They are organized much as a modern army, with unit names and unit sizes, The Army's base is in and around Nesmé although they often send out different sizes of units for various purposes.

Unit sizes

Squad

  • People: 6 - 10
  • Led by: Corporal

Platoon

  • Size: 3-4 Squads
  • People: 18-50 people
  • Led by: Sergeant

Company

  • Size: 3-4 Platoons
  • People: 60 - 200
  • Led by: Liutenant

Battalion

  • Size: 3-5 Companies
  • People: 100 - 1000
  • Led by: Captain

Council

Formed of Commander Wulfgar who has final say in everything and a group of Seneschal, one for each of the respective classes.

Location of presence

Main camp: just outside Nesmé - Can hold up to 1000 people at a time. Boot camp: Located inside Evermoor, Can hold 2 Platoons. One platoon is stationary and acts as instructors and the other platoon is made up of recruits.
